Irish-Reformation: Coming to a Bookstore Near You

Crawford Gribben gives a modest preview of a forthcoming book he is co-editing with Andrew Holmes entitled Protestant Millennialism, Evangelicalism, and Irish Society. He states,

"It has chapters from a range of writers, each documenting the various ways in which evangelicals have used millennial and apocalyptic themes in their interactions with wider Irish society.

It has chapters on millennialism in the 1790s, the 'Bible gentry', John Nelson Darby, Edward Nangle, Irish Church Missions, the apocalyptic interests of Ulster presbyterians (of all stamps!), William Graham and mission to German Jews, and some reflection on millennialism and evangelical identity in twentieth-century Ulster."
