Puritan Headlines and More

Today's pics:

  • Derek Thomas (my seminary prof!) gives a great reflection on the life and ministry of Thomas Cranmer who was martyred 450 years ago today. He also provides helpful input on Diarmaid MacCulloch's massive biography on Cranmer.

  • Kim Riddlebarger highlights R. Scott Clark's new book Caspar Olevian and the Substance of the Covenant in the Rutherford Studies in Historical Theology Series. Here is a must for all post-Reformation students.

  • On a different note, Edward T. Oaks at First Things reviews Jaroslav Pelikan's commentary Acts in the new Brazos Theological Commentary on the Bible. Those of you familiar with Pelikan's seminal five-volume work on Christian Tradition will want to take note.

Hi,

Love your site. Any site that outlines Muller is a good site!
